My Veterinary Journey: From Animal Mum to Human Mum

From a young age, I felt deeply connected to animals.

My affinity to animals led me to do a horse management degree and then I worked on the The National Stud in Newmarket UK for a breeding season. The Queens thoroughbred stud.
Here I fell in love with doing foal watch and was inspired to become an equine vet.
Now, after an interesting 25 year career in private veterinary practice then travelling widely in international biosecurity management. Including the reform of the horse import system after equine influenza. The time has come to go back to my heart role of equine breeding and my beloved foals.

My daughter Jas and I bought our dream property 3 years ago 'Hobby Horse Ranch' and we are now opening up our heart home for very special horses to join us and share their foaling journey.

When I became a mum to my stepson and then my daughter, my heart rapidly expanded. My desire to live my best life as my “best self” blossomed.
Recently, my daughter and I moved to our dream farm and have created a haven of healing and kindness, where children like me can meet and connect with animals and women can gently return to themselves.
